Description

Jehan Numa Palace is a distinguished 5-star heritage hotel located on the verdant slopes of Shamla Hills in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Originally constructed in 1890 by General Obaidullah Khan, the second son of Nawab Sultan Jehan Begum, the palace was not a residential abode but served as the General's office. After his death in 1924, it changed hands multiple times and was used by his sons as their secretariat until 1952 . In 1983, Nadir and Yawar Rashid, grandsons of General Obaidullah Khan, transformed the palace into a world-class heritage hotel, opening its doors to visitors in September of that year. In 2000, it was classified as a Heritage Grand Hotel, the first of its kind in Central India .
