Lotus Trans Travel Pvt. Ltd. / Lotus Buddhist Tours Website (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”)

1. Conditions of Passage

These conditions apply to every client who books a Brochure Tour, Special Tour, or any other travel arrangement with the Company. All arrangements are subject to applicable RBI/GOI regulations.
The Company acts only as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport operators, restaurants, and other suppliers. While every care is taken, the Company shall not be responsible or liable for any accident, damage, loss, delay, or inconvenience caused in connection with the travel facilities arranged.
Rates quoted are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in foreign exchange, airfare, transport, or hotel tariffs.

2. Brochure Accuracy & Adjustments

Descriptions in brochures or online are based on services normally available; however, changes may occur due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., road works, hotel overbookings, event closures, strikes).
In such cases, suitable alternative arrangements of a similar standard will be provided without liability.
Departure timings are subject to airline/rail schedules, traffic, weather, and operational restrictions. The Company does not guarantee any departure time.

3. Visa

The Company facilitates visa processing but is not responsible for delays, additional requirements, or refusal of visas by Embassies/Consulates. Visa fees are non-refundable.

4. Meals

Meals are pre-set and based on tour inclusions. Choice of menu is not available.
The Company reserves the right to change meal arrangements or timings if circumstances require.

5. Currency & Forex

Clients are advised to carry travel funds partly in cash and partly in Forex/Debit/Credit Cards.
The Company is not responsible for currency fluctuations or bank charges.

6. Hotels

Hotels provided will be those indicated in the final Tour Confirmation/Exchange Order or of a similar category.
All tours are operated on seat-in-coach/bus/van basis unless otherwise specified.

7. Tipping

Tipping is customary worldwide. Unless otherwise advised, clients may budget approx. USD 1 per person per day (for group tours).

8. Health & Insurance

Clients must inform the Company of any medical condition that may affect participation.
It is mandatory for all clients to obtain comprehensive travel and health insurance from their home country covering medical emergencies, cancellations, lost baggage, and repatriation.
The Company will not be responsible for any health-related costs incurred during the tour.

9. Baggage

Airline baggage allowances are strictly as per the airline’s rules. Excess baggage charges are the client’s responsibility.
All baggage and personal effects remain the sole responsibility of the client throughout the tour. The Company accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage.

10. Booking & Payment Terms

Clients must submit a completed booking form via our website.
Payment for tour packages is accepted in flexible instalments (advance deposit, second instalment, and final balance).
The final balance must be paid at least 45 days prior to departure. Failure to do so may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
Independent services (e.g., hotels, car rentals, train tickets) are subject to specific payment terms mentioned on our website.

11. Liability

The Company shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, or changes arising from force majeure events including (but not limited to): natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, industrial disputes, war, terrorist activity, government restrictions, adverse weather, or technical issues beyond our control.
The Company shall not be liable if a client fails to join the tour, joins late, or leaves early due to loss of documents, visa refusal, deportation, medical issues, or any personal reason.
Clients are advised not to carry valuables (jewellery, electronics, antiques). Any such items are carried at the client’s sole risk.
Limitation of Liability: In all circumstances, the Company’s liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the relevant travel arrangements.

12. Amendments by the Company

The Company reserves the right to cancel or amend any tour at any time without prior notice.
In such cases, the Company’s liability will be limited to refunding the deposit or payments received, without any compensation, damages, or interest.

13. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing via email or through the Contact Form on www.LotusBuddhistTours.com.
The cancellation period will be calculated from the date/time the written request is received at the Company’s office in New Delhi.
Visa fees, insurance costs, and certain non-refundable charges are always forfeited.

45 – 31 days 50% of total tour cost + Visa fees
30 days or less / No-show 100% of total tour cost + Visa fees

Disclaimer

For standalone services such as Car/Bus/Flights/Hotels/Train booked with third-party vendors, Lotus Buddhist Tours acts only as a facilitator. All responsibilities for confirmations, modifications, and service delivery lie directly with the third-party provider.

14. Law & Jurisdiction

All disputes shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
Disputes shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
