To ensure transparency, we have established the following cancellation policy and steps to follow:
How to Cancel
- All cancellations must be shared via email to our official email address given on the website or through the Contact Form on www.LotusBuddhistTours.com.
- No verbal or phone cancellations will be accepted. Written confirmation is mandatory for processing.
Effective Date of Cancellation
The cancellation period is calculated from the date and time the written request is received at our Head Office in New Delhi, India.
Please allow 1–2 business days for acknowledgement of your cancellation request.
Non-Refundable Components
Certain charges, as stated below, are non-refundable. These are:
- Visa application fees
- Travel insurance costs
- Service charges levied by third-party providers (such as airlines, hotels, and transport operators) for services where advance payments are non-refundable.
Cancellation Charges (as per LOTUS company policy)
Cancellation charges will apply as per the timeline below, in addition to visa fees and non-refundable costs:

Refund Process
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed and completed within 30-40 working days starting from the date of the cancellation confirmation request by the client.
- Refunds will be made via the online website using the same payment method/debit card, or credit card originally used, or bank transfer NEFT, after deducting applicable charges.
- International bank transfer charges or currency fluctuation differences, if any, will be borne by the traveller.
Special Cases & Exceptions
- In cases of force majeure events (natural calamities, political unrest, pandemics, etc.), Lotus Buddhist Tours will make every effort to secure partial refunds or credits from our suppliers; however, this cannot be guaranteed.
- Group tours with customized arrangements, chartered services, or special promotional offers may have stricter cancellation conditions, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

For standalone services such as Car/Bus/Flights/Hotels/Train booked with third-party vendors, Lotus Buddhist Tours acts only as a facilitator. All responsibilities for confirmations, modifications, and service delivery lie directly with the third-party provider.
