Mr. Lajpat Rai was the Chairman and Managing Director of Lotus Trans Travel Private Limited, a prominent Indian travel company specializing in inbound tourism, particularly Buddhist travel.

Today, we pause to honour the life and legacy of Mr. Lajpat Rai, who was our guiding light, and the heart of everything we built together. His untimely passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but future generations will feel the legacy of his hard work and its lasting impact.

Mr. Lajpat Rai actively promoted Buddhist tourism in India. His efforts were particularly notable in fostering strong connections with the Japanese inbound travel sector.

He was a passionate advocate for improving infrastructure facilities in Buddhist Circuit Cities such as Bodhgaya, Kushinagar, Varanasi, Sravasti, and eventually attracting more foreign tourists to renowned pilgrim sites in India.
